UNIPETROL, a.s. announces that Paramo Asfalt s.r.o. has signed two 5-year supplier contracts for bitumen deliveries, one with PARAMO, a.s. and one with UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o.

On the base of the first agreement PARAMO, a.s. will be delivering road and industrial bitumen to Paramo Asfalt s.r.o. Estimated value of that agreement amounts to CZK 4bn in the whole 5-year contractual period.

According to the second agreement UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. will be delivering road bitumen to Paramo Asfalt s.r.o. Estimated value of that agreement amounts to CZK 8bn in the whole 5-year contractual period.

Paramo Asfalt s.r.o., is newly established 100% subsidiary of PARAMO, a.s., into which PARAMO, a.s. has transferred its bitumen business.

The transfer of the bitumen business within Unipetrol Group is part of the strategy for the restructuring of Group's refinery assets, which reflects the current conditions in the market. The deliveries to Group's customers will not be affected.
