The supervisory board of UNIPETROL, a.s. during its meeting held on 30 August 2007 accepted the resignations of Mr. Pawel Szymanski and Mr. Arkadiusz Kotlicki from their positions in the supervisory board of UNIPETROL, a.s. effective immediately. At the same time, Mr. Robert Bednarski has been co-opted a new member of supervisory board of UNIPETROL, a.s. effective immediately Current member of supervisory board of UNIPETROL, a.s. Mr. Dariusz Marek Formela has been appointed a new vice-chairman of the supervisory board effective immediately.

Mr. Arkadiusz Kotlicki has been appointed a new member of board of directors of UNIPETROL, a.s. effective immediately and will hold the position of Chief merger officer of UNIPETROL, a.s .

Robert Bednarski (34) graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) with a doctorate. He has been with PKN ORLEN since 2002, initially in the position of head of the financial control department (2002-2005); since 2005 he has served as the CFO of Basell Orlen Polyolefins. From 1998 to 2005 he served on the supervisory boards of the PKN ORLEN Group's companies, and has been on the Board of Directors since 2005. In August 2007 he was appointed to the position of organisation and integration director.
