​UNIPETROL, a.s. (“Unipetrol”) informs that on 22 December 2016, UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. (“Unipetrol RPA”), 100% owned subsidiary of Unipetrol, signed with the insurer and reinsurers the Fifth Payment on Account Agreement (“Agreement”) related to claim of petrochemical steam cracker unit accident at Chempark Záluží in Litvínov from 13 August 2015 in the amount of USD 70 million which will be recognized in the financial statements for the fourth quarter of the year 2016 on accrual basis.
