​UNIPETROL, a.s. (“Unipetrol”) wishes to inform you that on November 16, 2017, UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. signed a contract with Bertsch Energy GmbH & Co KG, an Austrian supplier, for the construction of a new boiler house in Chempark Záluží Litvínov. The boiler house, which is producing high pressure steam and thus securing the operation of the steam cracker unit, will undergo major upgrades. Its existing two boilers will be replaced with brand new ones. The construction will commence during the first quarter of 2018. Completion of the construction is scheduled for 2020. The new high efficiency boiler house will use modern technology and will ensure full compliance with the European 2021 Emission’s regulations. The total investment reaches CZK 1.2 billion.
