UNIPETROL, a.s. (“Unipetrol”) informs that UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., 100% owned subsidiary of Unipetrol, decided because of its unplanned, earlier cleaning to shut down part of the operation of its petrochemical steam cracker unit at Chempark Záluží in Litvínov starting from Monday, 20 July 2015.

 

UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. estimates that the full steam cracker unit operation will be restarted till Saturday, 25 July 2015. The polypropylene production and C4 fraction sales will be negatively affected.

 

Total negative impact on Unipetrol Group full-year 2015 EBITDA is preliminarily estimated at approximately CZK 120 million.
