Prague, April 26, 2017: Starting April 1st 2017, PKN ORLEN supplies high quality jet fuel A-1 to aircrafts operating at the Václav Havel Airport Prague, the Czech Republic's largest international airport. Under the signed contracts, the only producer and provider of the aviation fuel became Unipetrol, the member of ORLEN Capital Group. This is the first nondomestic market for PKN ORLEN, which aims to successively increase the portfolio of operators, being the largest air carriers in the world.
Based on the agreement signed directly with the airlines operating in the Czech Republic's largest international airport, PKN ORLEN has become a seller of the aviation fuels to the airlines themselves. Within this distribution chain Unipetrol is the only producer and supplier of the high quality JET A-1 fuel to the storage facility at the airport on behalf of its parent company. The refueling services are performed by Czech Airlines Handling, a.s., a certified airport agent with long experience in aircraft refueling.

The Václav Havel Airport Prague handles more than 13 million passengers per year, who can choose from among 66 airlines offering direct flights from Prague to 154 destinations around the globe.
