UNIPETROL, a.s. (“Unipetrol”) informs that on 7 April 2016 ČESKÁ RAFINÉRSKÁ, a.s. (“Česká rafinérská”), 100% owned subsidiary of Unipetrol, and MERO ČR, a.s. (“Mero”), signed an amendment to the contract signed on 5 January 2016 for indefinite period on storage and transportation of crude oil. The amendment introduces a new tariff for the crude oil transportation via the IKL and Druzhba pipelines applicable starting from 1 April 2016 for indefinite period.

 

Unipetrol further informs that on 7 April 2016 Česká rafinérská and Mero signed a contract on arrangement of crude oil transportation via the TAL pipeline. The contract comes into effect from 7 April 2016 for indefinite period.

 

Estimated combined annual value of both signed today contracts exceeds CZK 1 bn. Following the contract implementation Unipetrol assumes to achieve savings comparing to previous conditions, level of which depends on the volume of transported crude oil.
