Hockey in Litvínov has a long tradition and for 61 has educated many hockey players, including world champions and winners of the Olympic Games. 20 players went from HC Chemopetrol on their professional way to NHL. At present a new generation of excellent ice-hockey players grows up in HC Chemopetrol club. Unipetrol aims to support their sport career by its own part, together with supporting operation of the whole club and thus to contribute to guarantee of attractive entertainment with great attendance of audience but above all to good conditions for quality development of ice-hockey in Litvínov.
