The company’s results in the poll for the most attractive employer among students are based on a long-term strategy that combines education and practice and creates opportunities for the young generation. “Collaboration with schools is a way for us to combine theory and practice and offer students a real view of modern industry. In addition to ranking third in the survey for the most in-demand employer among students, the ORLEN Unipetrol Group has also received the Award for the Occupational Health Protection, presented by the Employers’ Club in cooperation with the Association for Health, Vitality and Longevity. A panel of experts has recognised the company for its comprehensive approach to occupational safety, health risk prevention and support of employees’ vitality. For instance, ORLEN Unipetrol is engaged in the “Safe Steps” campaign, which helps prevent workplace injuries, and provides above-standard health care, including preventive examinations and recovery stays, as well as contributions to above-standard hospital rooms.

ORLEN Unipetrol has also seen other HR achievements this year. For instance, it ranked first in the “Pluxee Employer of the Year” in the Ústí Region. It was first in the Recruitment Academy Awards in the “Recruitment Campaign of the Year” category and among three finalists in the “Referral Programme of the Year” category. It ended second in the TOP Employer student poll. The “Most In-demand Employer among Students” poll has been organised by the Employers’ Club since 2011. It maps out the attractions of companies for secondary school and university students throughout the Czech Republic. Each year, the evaluation is completed by several thousand students via an online questionnaire that covers preferred employers, career expectations, wages, and working conditions. The results provide companies with valuable insights into how their brand is perceived by the younger generation.
